The DNB programme in Orthopaedics at SBJI offers four DNB seats. The DNB programme is a comprehensive 3-year course.

The programme benefits from a dedicated and experienced teaching faculty led by Prof. MV Reddy and Prof. VBN Prasad and coordinated by Dr. Khubchand. Additionally, over 20 seasoned consultants specialising in different subspecialties of orthopaedics actively participate in guiding the students throughout their educational journey, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.

As part of their training, all DNB candidates undergo a six-month peripheral rotatory posting in various subspecialties of orthopaedics including paediatric orthopaedics. However, the major portion of their posting is dedicated to the division of trauma, where they gain invaluable hands-on experience and expertise in managing traumatic injuries and related orthopaedic conditions. This comprehensive training approach equips DNB students with a well-rounded education and practical skills to excel in the field of orthopaedics.
